Information collected automatically

When you use the site, Charles.doc and its service providers may automatically receive technical information such as an IP address, browser or device information, pages visited, and diagnostic data. Cookies and similar technologies are used for sign-in, security, preferences, and core site functions.

How information is used

Information is used to operate and secure the service, maintain accounts, save and retrieve work, generate and deliver requested readings, process purchases, provide support and editorial services, communicate with you, prevent misuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the user experience. Charles.doc does not sell manuscripts or personal information.

Manuscripts and AI processing

When you request a reading, the material you submit is processed by third-party artificial-intelligence services to create the report. Charles.doc selects service providers intended to support appropriate privacy and security protections. Submitted material is used to provide the service you request, not to advertise to you or sell your work.

Charles does not personally read a manuscript merely because it is uploaded or processed. He may review it when you choose to share it in connection with a request to work together, or when limited access is reasonably necessary for support, security, or legal purposes.

Service providers

Charles.doc relies on third parties for services such as artificial-intelligence processing, payment processing, email, hosting, analytics, security, and data storage. These providers may process information as needed to perform their services and under their own privacy terms. Charles.doc does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Retention and deletion

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. You may delete saved manuscripts through My work. Some related records may be retained when required for legitimate business, security, or legal purposes.

Your choices

You may delete manuscripts from My work, unsubscribe from optional marketing email, or request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing charlesblackstone@gmail.com. Some information may be retained when required for legitimate business or legal purposes.

Age requirement

Charles.doc is intended for people 18 and older and is not knowingly directed to children. Please contact Charles if you believe a child has provided personal information.
